About Me
My interest in Taxidermy began at a very early age. With a passion for hunting and fishing, the taxidermy work that a cousin was doing caught my eye at the age of 12. My parents gave me the Elwood Northwest School of Taxidermy correspondence course for Christmas that year. At that time this was the only material that was available on the subject of taxidermy. Since those early years I continued doing taxidermy, learning from some of the best taxidermist and sculptors in the country. In 1980 I completed a BS in Biology from Missouri Western State University, expanding my knowledge in the life Sciences. After over forty years of being a taxidermist and seeing the need for quality taxidermy in the area I have decided to expand the business to full time and will now accept a larger volume of work. Also, I will be creating a number of new sculptures each year to market to the taxidermy industry.
